On the Sports Templates Discord server, they hosted a contest to design a Hockey Fights Cancer jersey. I tried to bring something different to the jersey design. Usually, the jerseys have a simple stripe pattern, where I wanted to highlight the awareness ribbon, and I felt one of the best places to do that is to wear it on your sleeve. I also couldn’t resist honoring Peter McNab, who had recently lost his battle with cancer.
The Rules were:
- 1) Must use the NHL Logo and the Hockey Fights Cancer Logo, one as the primary, one as a shoulder patch. You can change the colors of the NHL logo to fit the jersey better. Keep in mind the idea is the NHL logo would be where a teams logo is, as if in the case where the NHL would use this jersey template.
- 2) Must use the color {#b699d8}
- 3) Only one entry per person, if you send more than one entry, none will be put in the contest.
- 4) Must be in the discord to partake in the contest.
- 5) Winner will be awarded any template of their choice!
- 6) Any hockey jersey template can be used, doesn’t need to be a SportsTemplates Template.
So I ended up winning! Here is how is broke out:
Left Bracket: 89% – 11% (9 votes)
Right Bracket: 57% – 43% (14 votes)
Final: 60% – 40% (30 votes)
