GMDS Brand Guidelines
Grey Matters Defense Solutions had a logo, but no guidelines documentation. Brand guidelines ensure brand consistency, as brands can distort over time, and potentially damage the brand value and reputation. Defined and built out brand guideline documentation. Intended to be distributed as a pdf, but could be printed as a booklet style single fold 11×17 inch sheet.
The document defines the components of the logo, including colors, typefaces, and design elements. Authorized uses are shown in different color options and layouts.
The most common issues regarding logo abuse are related to distortion of the aspect ratio and color mix-ups. Multiple unauthorized examples help users understand and see the issues and subsequently avoid them in the future.
